OUR MISSION
Uliumbiwa Kusudi has a mission to influence change in how children learn and grow by ensuring their socialization is with an experience that facilitate an understanding of self, and actualization of purpose and passion they were born for to produce.
OUR IMPACT
Uliumbiwa Kusudi hosted a transformational workshop at TICD (Tengeru Institute of Community Development) for more than 300 students in June 2018. Watch this video to hear the students explain the impact this event had on their lives.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Uswege Mwakapango
Reflecting upon my childhood as a child born in the bush, in a small village of Tanzania, raised by a single mum, and much like other kids who lost their parents at a very young age - struggled to survive with no dream that good life, and the sense of self worth, and wholeness is for all of us - I have created Uliumbiwa Kusudi.
Previously, I co-founded RENEW - an international nonprofit organization established to help young people learn to love themselves and live their dreams. RENEW facilitated youth summits and workshops for thousands of young people across Tanzania, Australia and the US.
I holds a BA in Community Development, with an emphasis in Project Planning and Management from the Community Development Training Institute, Arusha. I, completed a Diploma in Development Leadership, Training and Facilitation Approaches for Social Change from Coady International Institute at St. Francis Xavier University in Canada in 2015.
